A few of my favorites from various trips over the past 5-10 years... also makes me realize that I need to take some photos of my favorite spots around home, not just those 1000 miles away! (after the snow and ice melt)

Wind River Canyon, WY... crazy big trout in that river!

Shoshone River in Cody, WY

Lamar River, Yellowstone National Park (my favorite place in the park, but not necessarily the portion easily seen from the road)

One of the ponds with some extremely long, unpronouncable name on the West Branch of the Penobscot in Maine, we fished upstream in the gorge... not sure why the sky and everything had such a blue hue that night, but I swear that the color in this photo is real, not Photoshop or a filter!

Wind River Mountains, up from St. Lawrence Basin trailhead, Wind River Indian Reservation

And finally, a beautiful place that I would have loved to have fished, but was just sightseeing for a couple days at the tail end of a business trip - Snowdonia National Park, Wales, UK... sure looks fishy and was breathtakingly beautiful!

Looking at the pictures gives me many ideas of new places to fish. Some people are obviously excellent photographers as well as fly fisherman.

Ryan: I saw that photo and immediately knew the exact location! The Wind River Canyon is one gorgeous place, I just love that place.

Huron River, Ann Arbor, MI. A little slice of heaven right in the city.

I'm not sure the of the name of this creek, but this was in the Smokey MTN national park. It was a joy to hike.
