My second edition to the thread. Jaw dropping scenery goes hand-in-hand with fly fishing the Rocky Mountain backcountry. To be able to relive the memories of the Rocky Mountain backcountry through these pictures is a treat. I'm a lucky person to be able to live in America and have absolute freedom to wander through such wild country at little or no cost. We ALL are lucky to have some of the finest public lands in the world. I'm surprised more people don't take advantage of this most special resource.

Ugh... why do you have to go and remind me of how much of the Winds I haven't been to yet? There are some good spots in the Beartooths as well.

Those are some nice goldens. Hope to make it to many of those places. Usually speed past Seneca en route to either Elkhart Park on the way out or somewhere better (less crowded!) on the way in.

We obviously speak the same language, my friend. I've been to the Beartooths. The Lake Plateau is as sublime as it gets.

I have a lead for big brookies close to Fossil Lake that I hope to come true.

Always exploring.......

Fabulous Effort!

Those places are there everyday for folks to enjoy...but the effort is only for a few. Kudos.
