PV...I spent quite a few years of my earlier life in the area where West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland all come together...one of my Sons lives there now...thanks for the pic...those grassy spots are a friendly site...I can remember the smell wading out there in the late 70's as I type...

as a boy(and slightly older, 30-40 years ago) we used to sein for hellgramites in the riffles in that area...and catch stringers full of catfish and small mouth with cane poles and some glass rods...we never ate the smallies and let them all loose...but loved the cats...

I would imagine a big bug pattern on a 6 weight would offer some mighty fine angling there...welcome to the forum...and please share again...if you look at my FOTM on my site and tie a few of those up I bet you get some big responses(like you dream of...LOL), its really meant for Western hatches, however smallmounths are not all that particular if my memory serves me correctly...

also very nice pics Mr Boz...thanks for sharing too!...

John: Anytime you want to come out, just give me a shout and we will float some great water together! Would love to show you some of the local streams.

Retirement is tough, but I'm keeping my nose to the grindstone and forging ahead fishing as many rivers as possible!
