This thread is a great reminder that trout don't live in ugly places, and other fish as well.

I spent the afternoon on the Hoback River today. The flows are definitely up from all the rain we have been having:

Its funny seeing spots that I just fished. Larry have you ever fished Cliff Creek. I heard it was small water but with pretty spectacular views.

No I haven't, don't even know where it is located, but will look it up. For my birthday earlier in the month my GF bought me a wade trip with the local fly shop here in Pinedale. I'm going out tomorrow, the plan is to fish Cottonwood Creek, on a private lease, another creek that I have yet to fish, so it should be fun to experience some new water in the area.

Edit: Ok, I did a Google search and it says "To get Cliff Creek trailhead from US Hwy. 191-189, four miles north of Bondurant turn west onto Forest Road # 30530". That FR is well marked on the left side of hwy 191 when headed north, my GF has been up there with the horses but never fished it. Will put that on my list to explore next summer.
