Default Arctic Ice Cap

Some good news for Polar Bears. Some pretty dramatic pictures of the Arctic taken by NASA on Aug 27, 2012 and Aug 15, 2013, show a marked improvement.

Apparantly, the global warming crew of scientists have postponded their next meeting while they investigate.

Pretty interesting news considering how fast the ice had been melting.

It is, Larry.

I checked the Solar Flare activity cycles and see that the max which was supposed to occur this year seems to have hit early - 2011 and 2012. We should be heading into the decline now according to NASA predictions (assuming the peak is not late). The solar activity is supposed to contiinue to drop until around 2023 or 24.

Solar Cycles, Sunspots, Solar Flares, Consciousness and Climate Change

I think we are in for some serious cooling off in the next decade and a half. That'll be a welcome relief , especially for the trout and salmon - just so long as it doesn't make it all the way down to the Keys.

Lightbulb Re: Arctic Ice Cap

Could someone forward on the link to this thread to Al Gore? His 'rice bowl' will be getting empty.

I can only hope!

No-No! That was Seattle. It meant that it would rain three minutes out of every ten.
