Default Breast Cancer month!

Since there's quite a few people here that offer support to orgs like Casting for Recovery, I thought I'd share another that I donate to locally. It's a friend that beat breast cancer and started a fundraiser walk because of her condition. I'm not trying to advertise here or anything but if it's ok with the administrators here, I wanted to share a blog that I wrote for her event.
Here's the link: www.aloneeagle.com/walk/

I thought maybe some of you would like to share your stories and add a link to your local fundraiser to gain them some exposure

That's a very worthwhile charity to sponsor, Todd. We have a variety of annual events here for the same purpose, including a "fun run" and "Walk a mile in my shoes", where the guys walk in high heels.
Thanks for being a local sponsor and doing something to raise awareness of this disease. Cancer in its multiple forms affects us all, and money raised to help eradicate this ugly killer is urgently needed.

Thanks Siege! It's been great to be more active with the community I've seen quite a bit of news coverage over the years with the high heels events... many go all out with stiletto's but some figured out that platforms are a little easier It's all good in my book!

Just remember, Todd, fish nets are worn on the back of your vest, not on your legs with your stilettos!
Keep up the good work.

Thanks! The media coverage around here has been great and my wife and I are excited to attend. This Sunday, I'll actually update the blog with some additional words and photos.
