Default Dog slead races.

Only got to watch (part) of one of these once but it had a very high 'cool factor' going. (No bad pun intended.) Was very obvious the Dog's were very much into the whole idea.

Fred: That is one of the things I miss about living in Alaska. We used to live off Farmers Loop in Fairbanks and they have a big club house and dog sled track with groomed trails located on Farmers Loop and conduct races during the winter months. We used to love to go down and watch the racers, it was pretty exciting to see how fast the bigger teams could pull a sled and driver.

Last week I saw in the local paper where Pinedale is a stage stop on a dog sled race in Feb, it starts in Jackson, WY on Jan 31 and ends near Evanston, WY on Feb 8.

Fairbanks in the Winter? I only remembered how cold it could be in Winnipeg, Manitoba ... until I had to spend a couple of weeks there at the end of January. Clothing I'd brought with me was totally inadequate.

Large expense accounts are a 'good thing' and God did that cost a 'Pretty Penny.' 'Boss' didn't even blink an eye when I turned in my expense account.
