Default Tracks in the snow

Hi Guys,

Very strange tracks in the snow. Any ideas? A one legged rabbit?

Mouse. They hop in snow like that. It's pretty funny to witness.

What's around you?

It could be a red fox or a coyote.

We live opposite a farm. I hear coyotes all the time, neighbours have said they have seen Red Fox.

Not positive but easy to check.
See if the tracks start from underneath the snow and end that way too.

Looks like a fox. Hard to tell without scale but they walk just like that and I have them in my yard a lot. I need to snap some photos of whats been happening here. The snow is so deep and light that when the wild turkeys fly in and out they leave a really cool print of their wing feathers in the snow. When a big turkey struggles to lift off, it will leave this perfect print of wing feathers from both wings. It will be in like 6-10' increments and go on for several yards.

Like I said it's a funny sight to witness
The mice are extremely vulnerable to predators out on the white snow like that and they're jumping as fast as they can go to get back under cover
fredaevans and theboz like this.
