Default The Happy Thread

There is so much **** going on in the world. This thread is for those holding tight in the bastion of optimism and happiness. Did something good happen? Share it here.

I ordered a glass rod that was supposed to be back ordered, but they found one and it is arriving 3 days earlier than scheduled.

I just got to Chicago last night. It's sunny, but colder than a witches ... broken black kettle.

One of the DSMs for this site left me his fly rod to use while I am up here. It's a very nice 9 foot 5 weight he built himself. Weather's supposed to warm up to the 40s by the weekend.

Whooo hoooo !!!!!!!!!!!!

My drought stricken area is looking at a line of storms running all the way across the Pacific Ocean.
2016 will be streams running free and lakes full.

I have 2 grandsons; 6 1/2 and 3 years old, who would rather be outside than play video games.

The wife was in one of her moods both last night and this morning.....No, not the "you bum you forgot to take the trash out!" one, the other one It's too soon to worry about what she might be wanting, so never the less, I'm a happy man!

It's good to be me

I'm happy I don't live in Syria or Yemen.

I'm super happy I got to fish the Driftless Area of Wisconsin this past weekend. Mikechell, it was much colder there than Chicago! Saturday morning as I got to the river, it was 0 degrees F.

My daughter has never gone to bed hungry, or has any idea what it would really mean to be cold.

Watched the documentary, Living on One Dollar, on Netflix...gives you a lot to be thankful for or happy about!
