Default Annual pig-a-thon

Our little group of family and friends have an annual Labor Day camping extravaganza that's been going on for nearly 30 years. There's lots of eating (and drinking) and last few years there's been a pig involved
Here's a few pictures from Sunday.

Paul, you know how these pictures and stories about food and drink combined with a large gathering of fishermen get to me............

That took me back 50'ish years in North Seattle. Neigbor did this every year and folks drove/flew in from ever point in the compass. Dug a huge hole in his back yard, lined same with rocks/huge fire down to coals .. and in went the 'Pig.'

Hole dug early Friday AM, fire on, Pig in Sat AM ... three day (to be honest) "Drunk" for the next 2.5 days. Piggie done after dark on Saturday evening so it was pull out/stick a hand in, pull a chunk of meat (with the other stuff on the stretch tables (salads and such) and 'feed.' Not eat .. 'feed.'

Amazing Grace for a 'Man' in his early 20's?
