Hi Tob1,

I know you fish the Rena river a lot. I see someone casting from shore in the picture with a one handed rod. Do you fish one handed rods usually or do you use Spey some of the time. The Rena looks like big water.

Hi again Frank.
Rena river is about 100 meter wide. Lots off vegetation around and normally you can wade only 1 meter out. Everyone use a rod in size #4 or #5. Technics for casting is different types watercasts with the one handed rod. The trout goes from 1 meter to 10 meter from the land (grayling longer out). It is a difficult river to fish.
The picture is taken from a place called Kvarven were a yearly flyfishing meeting were 2 weeks ago, about 100 people on the meeting.
