A few recent shots.............

Sometimes you just gotta relax, this is taken on Kroto Creek just this week.

I haven't caught any large salmon yet this spring but it's early, I'm going in the very early AM. tomorrow so.....

Everything I've caught has been in the 22 - 25" range not quite a true jack but far from a 5 year fish. The fish in the picture was nice but I scooped him with a giant King net and she seemed lost in there

Back a couple months ago I was steelhead fishing and did a selfy

Got a couple fish too, nothing huge and the rules are do not remove the fish from the water so there are no whole fish pictures. I figure the biggest may have been 2 foot but skinny.

Memorial weekend I explored a new river where I've never been, this one is way out there and quite interesting. I know no one who fishes it so I'll have to go give it a go to find out what's there. I'm thinking Grayling and trout in the seams and sloughs. The current is pretty swift but the rainbows seem to cope with that so they are probably there.

I have hopes for that river because it gets very little pressure compared to many others.

Great Pics Ard, Boss is looking all buff in that vest. I've been lucky this season with hatches, been able to get out quite a bit and have been getting into some real descent fish.

My wild night blooming cereus bloomed. 12 flowers bloomed about midnight.

Peniocereus greggii is a cactus species originating from Arizona and Sonora. Common names include Arizona queen of the night, nightblooming cereus and Reina de la noche

I love coming to this thread......often!

Here's my small contribution......

I live in Northwestern Connecticut. Lots of hills and valleys, few people.

Leave my driveway and turn left and then keep taking right turns until I get home again.....essentially "go around my block". It's 22 miles......if you use dirt roads.....stay on pavement and you can double it.

Here's a few of the pictures I took one morning last fall.

Enjoy.......I do.

Tight lines,

Joe

I took this shot from across the street from my home....."The beginning"

Here is a photo of one of Ted's (Silvertip8k) sunflowers he has growing in his garden that he sent me. I thought it was just spectacular:
