Hi Ard,

I moved to Alaska in May of 1974. They told me I could see Mt McKinley from Anchorage. It is about 90 miles away if I remember correctly. I was there eight months before I saw it one day. My office was up on Government Hill.

Ard,

All of the pictures were taken with my Olympus C-765 Ultrazoom. It's one of the compact digitals 4.0 megapixels, 10x optical zoom, 40x digital zoom. It's fairly small so that it isn't in the way when I'm fishing or whatever I'm doing at the time, and the most important thing to me is it has a viewfinder as well as the screen. I keep telling myself I need to move up and get myself a camera with interchangeable lens, but I can't really justify the costs...

Dan

I will add one further statement on my Olympus; all of the photos I posted were what I took at the time. None of them were cropped and zoomed to bring them in closer.

Dan
