Hey guys.

What is the body count for the Green Trip? If we still have an empty seat I can see if Greg is free too. Don't want to ask if we have 2 full boats. Already set things up with Johny, we will meet in Hoback at 7:00 and then head on down.

I dunno Dave.

One thing I do know....The Fremont Silver Wolves are The Region Champions in football for 2010. Beating the Defending Region Champs in a hard fought defensive battle on there field. The final score was 14-6.

Both teams came in undefeated in region play, with Davis High being ranked #2 in the state.

A couple of the boys are from our neighborhood.
"Congratulations" Austin, Tate, and all of the Fremont Silver Wolves. You are Region Champions for 2010!

Now get your butts back to work and take State!!

We are one body short of filling two boats. Right now we have Cromney, Fysh, Davo, Johny and Larry. If you can recruit one more that would be great. Originally we thought Gabe was coming but he can't make it.

Well it looks like it will just be the 5 of us on Saturday. I asked Greg but he is tied up with family and can't get away. Just means more chicken and beer for the rest of us!!!

I'm for sure not gonna make it up to fish with Larry and Clint on Friday, too many things to wrap up before this trip, and our Steelheading Trip later in the month, and our hunt for monster Brown's on the Snake in early November.
The next month does not suck for Pam & I wetting a line.

With the flow being low right now and like a 9-10 mile float. Does anyone else think we want to get the boats in the water before 9am? (besides we don't want the chicken to go bad!)

I'm fine with getting in earlier, the earlier we get into the fish

What can I bring for everyone?

Clint and I will already be there so it is really up to Davo whether or not he can get down there any earlier.

Well guys, I'm picking up the chicken at 6AM when the store opens. If all goes well I might be in Hoback 15-20 minutes earlier. Better than that would require picking up lunch the night before, I'm fine with that. Or we can choose some other lunch plans and John and I can leave earlier. I'll let you guys decide.

Dave, It probably isn't that important. My only concern was that we aren't really going to be able to stop and wade much with the lower flow and needing to cover the water.

I think Larry needs to make a drive tonight to find WIFI access so he can take care of some things for work. My bet is that they will float from the Bridge to the Hayfield today (because of the river closure up above), and will let us know tonight if it's a concern or not.

Heck, I have a headlamp, I'm good to go!

Guess I better get rolling. I need to get the truck inspected, dump all the grass clippings out of the bed, and blow out the trailer & mowers.
Should I dump the clippings before or after the inspection? I bet the fella's at the shop would just love to have a bedfull of stinky grass sitting there while they inspect it! lol!

Well after taking a good look at the maps I'm guessing about a 3hr drive to get there. Based on that I'm going to pick up the chicken tonight and see how much earlier Johny can meet me in Hoback. If he can get there earlier than 6AM we will get down there before 9AM. Do what we can do but have to wait and see. It does not get dark till after 7PM so that gives us 10hrs to float before the spotlights are needed.
