Default Composting Toilets

Hello:

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with composting toilets. I am considering purchasing one and I am trying to find out from people that have actually used them.

I need to know the good, the bad & the ugly...

My thought was the Envirolet by Sancor. But all I could find on line was a pile of negative feedback from alot of there customers on performance and service. Which I believe has lead me to forget about that model.

My next choice is an Excel Electric by Sun-Mar. I can't seem to find any info on them other than there own website.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

Default Re: Composting Toilets

Mike,
I'm not sure if this is the type of 'outdoor facilities' that your looking for, but take a look as it seems like a great way to go. (no pun intended).
A portable camping toilet using pooh powder in wag bags which are disposable in the trash. The waterless toilet.

we are considering buying one, but for now we have bought a pile (pun intended) of the wag bags to use with a 5 gallon bucket.

Hope this helps......
