Default Eleven Point River

Was thinking about looking into a several day drift on the Eleven Point River in Missouri. Was thinking late March for trout. Anybody been there, have any advice

It's an excellent float fishing river! Trout upstream and great smallmouth bass and walleye fishing as you move downstream toward the state line and into Arkansas.

Be aware that a large portion of the river flows alongside the Irish Wilderness and is very remote.

Late March through May is the best for the upper river (trout waters) because it is usually all floatable at that time of year.

Thanks for the information Ken. I will research the river for the next few months and am going to put together a 3 or 4 day drift. I really like the variety of the water. I am thinking mid to late April, just looking at temperture averages. It will be a floating fishing trip, with a nice float taking priority by a frogs hair.
