Default replacement Fisher rod tip section

I have a custom-built 9wt 9' 2pc rod made by my old friend Michael Simon, then of Livingston, MT and now Richmond, VA. I've ruined the rod tip section (don't ask how) and am looking for a replacement. Michael says he built the rod from a Fisher blank, in the late '80s or early '90's. I understand that Fisher is no longer in business so I'm looking for a replacement tip which I can get a local rod builder to match the guide windings that Michael did. It's a great rod and I'd love to get it back into service. Can anyone help? The plug in the butt section is .210".
