Default New from the Okanagan (British Columbia)

My wife calls me a lot of names, but she sweetly calls me Henry when she wants something done, so I'm assuming that's my name. I'm looking forward to swapping fish stories with some of the pros on here in short order, but for now I will peruse the archives and chime in when inappropriate (I'm good at that).
Thank you fyshstykr for inviting me hear.

Henry: So how do you Fysh? Fysh, Davo and I fished the upper Green River together last year. We tried to get a float together this spring on the lower Green below Flaming Gorge but the weather was snowing heavily so we cancelled the trip.

Hey everyone meet Henry. Glad to see you here.

Larry I think you were asking Henry how he knows me?

I met Henry a few years ago on a now pretty much defunct forum where he was a Mod.
He's a good fella who is very proud of his Dutch Ancestry, and lives in a very beautiful part of the world that I hope to see someday.

Man, I'm sorry that I haven't been on here for so long, dang, I thought it was only yesterday. Fysh has tried to prod me a bit, but I just didn't feel I had the time, sorry. I'm going to try to change my attitude a bit.
Took a great fly fishing course this spring, but haven't been able to put anything into real life practice yet. I broke my hip (while fighting of a biker gang)and have been sort of incapacitated for the last 8 weeks. Xrays tomorrow will tell me I can put weight on the hip again, or that I need a hip replacement. I hope it's the former.

Henry: Sorry to hear about the hip trouble. We have another member "kglissmeyer1" (Kelly) who just had a double hip replacement.
