Fred: Welcome to the forum, looking forward to hearing about your fishing and seeing some patterns you use in the U.K.

Hi Larry, thank you.

I do a shed load of stillwater trout fishing over here, but i also like the river trout and grayling. When i'm on the rivers i just love to fish spider patterns most of the time. Here were i live { North Yorkshire } were real fond of spider fishing, goes back for many many years.

I'll be glad to share our ' top ' stillwater patterns Larry, and i'd be happy to hear if they work as well over the water.

Fred.

Hi Dan, thankyou.

I'll be glad to show some ' Northern Spiders ' as we call them. I havn't any on file at the mo. { } but will put some up soon. Partridge and fluro. orange spiders are bankers for us on the rivers, but black/olive spiders do better on our stillwaters.
