Hello HCR:

First of all... Welcome to the forum. We're certainly glad to have you.

Secondly... you have a very nice website www.hillcountryrods.com Nice looking rods too.

Now... for info on how to become a forum sponsor go to http://www.theflyfishingforum.com/fo...ead.php?p=4933
You can probably just make a gear contribution for the Monthly Drawing and you're in. For more information... send me an email at srob@tjc.edu

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks All,

I guess I will get started and contribute one of our rods...

check out our website at www.hillcountryrods.com and decide which one I will donate. Maybe a poll on which to donate.

We will also be updating soon with our new 2007 model rods.

Thanks

Yea... I was thinking about a 4wt - 8'6" too. We've never offered a 4wt before so that would be a good choice. I like the one shown with the aluminum tube. I think the only difference is the shape of the cork handle.

I don't see a problem with that at all.

I would like to winner to give us all an honest report on the rod if possible.
At HCR we take our customers requests and suggestions into play when we build our rods. Over the weekend we will be updating our website with the 2007 model rods.

I will also early next week give another welcome with discounts and group buys on our equipment.

I would also like to stress one thing about HCR. We are fisherman too and we view every contact with an angler as an opportunity to meet people that don't just "fish" but "live" fly-fishing. Myself and a few others plan to participate as much as possible.

Thanks Again all for the warm welcome,

Joshua
