Default Hi from Vegas

Hi everyone, just ran across this site recently and cant get enough of it. I have been FF since I was about ten, I"m 25 now. I grew up in Green River Wyoming. My first fish was below the dam on the green, I was pretty spoiled for my first time. I live in Vegas now so I do alot of my fishing in the streams and lakes of Southern Utah, and in Wyoming when I go back home. I appreciate all the advice and articles on this site and look forward to hooking up on those big browns and brooks.

David

Welcome to the forum, looking forward to your fishing reports! I live in Laramie and like to fish the Green River whenever I get a chance. It is pretty country over there. I have fished below flaming Gorge and below Fontenelle.

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum. You should give Lee's Ferry, Az a try. Some nice fishing there and the scenery is unique. You need a boat to go up stream or hire a guide. You can rent a jet boat from the fly shop and that is a very good way to go. There is some fishing along the park but not enough to justify a trip. We use to hire a guide for one day. We would fish the park the day we got there, go with the guide for one day, then fish the park the morning before we left. You can camp in the park or stay in a motel.
