Hi folks,

I'm new to the sport and after a new weeks of casting practice, I ventured this morning to the Ken Lockwood Gorge (Jersey folks will know of it). No fish, but I enjoyed my time on the water.

Nothing like sitting by the river side, enjoying a hot cup of coffee (for me anyways), watching and studying the river, looking for rises, hearing the riffles, listening to the birds, wait, there's a rise..wade out...good presentation...hear and see the splash, feel the tug, set the hook and fish on!!! Good bend in the rod, nice fish! What a day!! You're going to love it!!
