Default Hello from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Just joined.

I re-started fly-fishing three years ago after being away from it for over 28 years. Even tying now my own flies.

Last week, I even added a Spey rod to my single hand 8wt and also 5wt.

Happy to be part of the forum and to have the opportunity to contribute and also read the treads and posts.

Hey Legrand! Glad you're back! Does that mean your 5 and 8 weights are 28+ years old? milt.

No the 28+ gear is a fiberglass rod 7/8 wt and the reel has three spools (floating, floating with sinking tip, and sinking line). Still works.

The new 8 & 5 wt are new. GLoomis rods and Waterworks Lamson Konic reels (4.0 & 2.0) each with spare spools.
