Default old novice

This is a sport I've always admired from afar. I use a fly rod a few times more than 30 years ago to catch bream from local ponds, but have not do so in a long time. I'm about ready to try my hand at it again and need some advice and help on getting started... I'd still like to go after bream, but also have a hankering to try some North Arkansas trout.

Welcome aboard Buggy! Good to see we've got Mississippi represented now as well.

The trout are tons-a-fun, but don't forget about those Reds and etc down on the coast! Redfish on a flyrod is my favorite fishing anywhere.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
