Default FlyFipper

Winston here... I was fly fishing long before the movie "A River Runs Through It" was made. My skills were honed on a private lake filled with sunfish, bluegill, large and small mouth bass where I learned to "roll" my casts under overhanging tree limbs and brush. Now I live in Bend, Oregon and love to fish the Metolius, Crooked River, Fall River and the Deschutes plus the high Cascade Lakes. Press on!

Welcome to the group! Sounds like you have tons of great water near-by. I really want to fish the Metolius someday.

Here's an out-of-left-field question. Do you know if they filmed the movie "Without a Paddle" on the Metolius? it sure looked like it to me.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
