Default Looks like a fun forum!

Hi all,

I've learned quite a bit by perusing hundreds of threads. The posts I enjoy the most is where the OP tells a story with accompanying photos. I also appreciate it when the poster includes the technical data such as rod used and size and type of fly, etc. OK, enough about you.

I am just getting started with this fascinating hobby. Due to no longer owning a boat, I wanted something I could enjoy from shore. A new friend of mine, whom I met while he was trout fishing and I was taking photos, got me talked into this. I'd better enjoy it because I already sunk over $500 into equipment. I've lost my virginity on sunfish and will attempt some river trout this weekend, if we don't get a deluge of rain again.

Anyway, I'm here to learn from you guys.

It is a good forum, perhaps the best one around, the people are what make it the next best thing to actually fishing.

Welcome,

Ard

Hey Mnshutterbug, welcome to the board.

Glad you're enjoying the forum so far-- and we look forward to your pics and trip reports.

Ask questions if you've got em, feel free to jump in on threads, pull up a chair, help yourself to the fridge, and otherwise make yourself at home..
