New guy in Kentucky

Hey, thought I would Join in the forum to be part of what I think is the best sport around. I'm still new to the sport, only been into fly fishing for 6 years and learning from every trip. Here in Kentucky we don't get great exposure to trout waters so we break-away to hit some of the surrounding states. My friend and I hike into places that gets very little pressure, I think that adds to the experience. Got great photo's of some remote places. Looking forward to talking to everyone. Anyone has questions about Kentucky I'll try to help.

What part of Kentucky are you from? One of my mentors is from Louisville, he and Denny Crum used to come out here and fish the Green River and Henry's Lake.
Them fellas could sure put away the Bourbon.

I live in Louisville and have heard many stories about Denny Crum. He has a sport talk show on the radio with Joe Hall (retired coach of University of Kentucky) and no matter what the subject is, both Joe and Denny will swing it around to a fishing story. As far as bourbon goes I think it's a prerequisite to living here. Joe Hall is great to listen to, he sounds very calm and relaxed you would never suspect him to be a coach of any kind. He tells great jokes. Todd
