Braunbear66 is on a distinguished road
Default Hello from Glendale CA

My name is Rick Braun. I love fishing. I started at 9 year's old. My good friend Ralph Kevorkian took me and his son to Mammoth and surrounding areas every summer to go fishing. Rock Creek -Owens- East Walker to name some. He bought me my first fly fishing outfit and took me to Ned Greys in Montrose and bought me a vise a book and a bunch of fly tying Materials. Unfortunately He was killed in the TWA Flight 800 over New York he was the Captain of that flight. I kept fishing and still have everything he bought me. I was left a Hardy's Graphite Smuggler and reel Ive been to scared to use it. I use my Orvis FF instead and I still Tye flies. Well to make a long story short. I just had my first child last year a Girl Fiona and one on the way a girl due sometime in March 09. I'M going to teach my kids what Ralph taught me. Ive already teaching her to hold a rod and turn the reel. She can say fish and daddy and doggy that's about it. I know I have a while before they will be fishing with me. I'M going to Yosemite for Thanksgiving and was going to try to fish or practice casting in the valley. and let Fiona watch me cast.
