Greetings, Innes, welcome aboard. Those pictures are beautiful. I've been wanting to visit your country and I think you just gave me a few more reasons to.

We had to reschedule our next fishing trip indefinitely because of north Korea. To bad because the weather has been great. More to follow.

Hi innes,

Welcome to the forum. That is a nice looking stream and you are lucky to have it. You should be able to get really good deals on rods and reels in Korea. Korea is making some good stuff at low prices.

Your best bet with information is to stick with one fly shop that you like and buy from them. Nothing will get you better information that spending money in the shop. Try to buy something every time you visit even if it is just a few flies. Do you have a government entity that sets fishing rules and limits. In the States we have a Fish and Game department in each state. If you have anything like that they will be a good source of information.

Catch and Release is good for the fishery.

Frank

Good luck there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the guys there. I went to S. Korea back in the 70's and they were nuts in the N. then. Time has not improved them any has it?
