Schemy is on a distinguished road
Default Hello

I'm from Colorado and have been a novice fly fisherman for a number of years. I have become more and more enveloped by this sport, and plan on letting it take over. I have so many options to fish in Colorado, that at times it is hard to decide where to head. Well just wanted to say hi, and tight lines.

WELCOME SCHEMY, go with the feeling. Don't try and fight it, it is useless. LOL
Glad you found us and love to hear more about you.

Default Re: Hello

Lets see, more about me. Well I am a Colorado native, born and raised on the eastern plains. Caught my first trout around 8 yrs old, still the largest bow I've caught (16"), and have loved fishing for trout ever sense. First started fly fishing in college, just hear and there, but soon learned how great it can be. I am still very novice at the sport, but hope to gain some more knowledge, and start getting out more often. It is about time I took advantage of this great state and all it has to offer a fly fisherman.

Schemy welcome to the board. You live in a great state for fly fishing, and Grand Junction is right in the middle of things-- you should have a blast.

Ask questions as they come up, lots of helpful folks on this board, and tell us about your fishing expeditions.

Here's a link that might help if you fish the Frying Pan or Roaring Fork:
