Thumbs up MT Rookie

Hello from Montana folks! I stumbled across this forum today (while at work! ) and it really looks like a great place to learn new things. I'm as "novice" as you can get when it comes to fishing (i mean NOVICE...as in, i just learned how to tie a couple of knots, and i'm working on my casting from the ground up, but getting there)...so, I apologize in advance for any insanely idiotic questions I throw your way...but I do look forward to all of the great insight and of course to picking your brains!!! Take care all and I look forward to chatting with you.

Hey JB, welcome to the forum. Ask away if you have questions-- and take look at some of the past threads and the FAQ section. Lot's of stuff there that might be helpful to you.

You live in a great state for fly fishing so you should have a blast.

JB,
Welcome aboard. The only insanely idiotic question is one that is never asked. Hope you enjoy the board, I live in Southwest Montana and if you ever have any questions about anything please don't hesitate to get in touch. All this high spring runoff will give you plenty of opportunities to seek out small creeks and streams which are the best classroom for novice anglers. Good luck and tight lines!

Biggie
