- The Mountains of the Rockies have always been my home and they have taught me many great lessons in life. I feel very fortunate to have had the mountains and rivers of the Rockies as my teacher and I hope my two young children will get as much from the mountains as I have. I have spent the past 18 years in Bozeman Montana living the dream as a flyshop owner, fly fishing outfitter and proud father. I sold my flyshop that I operated for 8 years and now concentrate solely on the outfitting and guiding aspects of the business. The retail business taught me many great lessons, but it kept me from being outdoors and sharing my knowledge of the waters and the great history and geography of Southwestern Montana and Yellowstone Park. There is much more to a fly fishing trip than just the fish and I enjoy sharing the entire adventure of a day on the water with my guest. I live with my two beautiful children Reece and Sarah, their Mother Moira and our trusted companion Trico, a Springer Spaniel who may be the best fish pointer to ever walk the earth.
