Things I have seen;
Photos from Alaska
Wild Flowers in the mountains, I called this the Field of Dreams when I first saw it.
The River; some trips are just beautiful
The boat trip to our cabin is just short of 80 miles and when the weather is clear the scenery is like this.
The background is wet glacial silt and the picture was taken at low tide. With the sky reflecting on the wet sand it produced a surreal effect.
Young Bull Moose, I have seen some giant bulls but they don't hang around for photos.
A young Alaskan Brown Bear
This is a two year old bear of about 400 pounds. He is busy trying to round up some dinner. These were taken at 400mm, I was not close.
The grab;

Wild poppy in our yard.
Taken from the starboard port looking through the boat and out the port side.

The Boat; driven aground by the tidal wave from the 1964 quake this is one of my favorite photo subjects.
Turnagain Arm, a hike at low tide
Skilak Lake
Nikon D80
Tamron 28 - 300 VR
Hand held photo @300
Aperture f8
Wild Blue Flag; There are some wetlands here that bloom solid with these wild iris in June. A few years back I took this photo of some.
