- I'm currently working as an explosives engineer. My work has taken me all over the world, but for the moment, I'm mainly in Montana, Alberta, Yukon, and British Columbia.... Not bad places to spend your time. :) I started fly fishing when I was 7 and it has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I have twin boys who just turned 12. We keep active with fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and Scouting. We just finished up Cub Scouts with two Arrows of Light plus two Supernova STEM awards(2 of only 14 awarded in our entire Greater STL council). Now on to Boy Scouts. Their hearts are set on Eagle. I'm going to do my best to help them reach their goals. So far, I've been drafted into a leader role and merit badge counselor for fishing, wilderness survival, kayaking, mining, diving, and a few others that I can't remember... I enjoy it as much as they do. :)
I'll fish anywhere, but my heart is in the salt. There is nothing like the endless variety a person can find between a turtle grass flat and the Gulf Stream.
My current goto quiver is made up of several varieties of Zenith, NRX, and one Method. I often pull my grandfathers hand built rods out too. Geez are they S-L-O-W, but they still catch fish. That would make him happy.

- "I'm going out to fish," Simon Peter told them, and they said, "We'll go with you." So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. John 21:3
