    Biography
    I've been an avid spin cast fisherman for years and have decided I'd like to get in to fly fishing as well. I live in the middle of the fingerlakes of NY which provides great lake and stream fishing for all type of species.

    In the summer, I primarily fish in small local streams and rivers for smallmouth, browns and brook trout, or the closest pond for panfish, but in the late fall and winter, I enjoy steelhead fishing on the tributaries to Lake Erie.

    I would think it would be hard to notice unless you had a real big fish ripping line off like a rocket, and even then it would just add to the fun when it started to shake like the spin cycle on the...
