    Biography
    I tend to take my work and hobbies, particularly fly tying and fly fishing, seriously, but not myself.

    I have been fly fishing, as well as designing and tying flies and poppers for almost 40 years. I started tying commercially after I discovered a friend to whom I gave flies was selling them. At first, I was ticked, but then thanked him for giving me the incentive to sell them myself. He no longer gets freebies, though.
    ---
    If I were to describe heaven it would involve being knee-deep in a remote mountain stream casting nearly imperceptible flies to wary trout. Then, releasing the few I was fortunate enough to land.
