I started fly fishing at the age of 11, but took a 50 year hiatus from the sport and just took it up again 3 years ago. I used to fish with my wife, Marty; mostly for trout in the freestone streams in the Pocono Mountains area where we lived for the past 8 years, but now that we've move to the Northshore of MA, I'm in-serach-of new trout waters. I also fish Stripers off the coast of Maine in the Summer. I've been fortunate enough to fish in a growing number of countries and have enjoyed both the people I've met and the places that I've fished. I started tying flies a few years ago; due to my joining NAFFF, and have found it to be very rewarding and relaxing. My favorite type of fishing is hiking up into a small stream headwaters and testing my skills against the native Brookies. My most memorable fishing to date has been in Chilean Patagonia, for Browns and Rainbows - we will be going back in February, 2012.
