- It has been about 2 years since the wife and daughter moved me to Cincinnati. The wife grew up here but moved out to Iowa when we married. She moved out there for me so I figured it wouldn't be too much of an issue to move here for her. As long as I have my girls I don't care where I live. This(2013) will be my second year behind a fly rod. We used to go to Bennett Springs out in Missouri every year as a kid where I would be able to watch all those loops over the water, but I didn't have a job and my folks were not the types to indulge in hobbies much. If I wanted to fish they got an extra rod from Grandpa that he wasn't using. Spinning is interesting but not captivating, and because of that i didn't fish for many years. So 20 years later I've started fishing again, this time with that fly rod. And after those 20 years I finally caught the Trout I've always remembered chasing(While on vacation in Cumberland 7/2012).
