- I am originally from South Africa but now live in SK, Canada having met a beautiful girl that dragged me half-way across the planet. I have fished since a kid, but mainly I used to fish for carp in a style of course angling unique to South Africa. I have fly fished for about 15 years, but only as an add-on/alternative to my main fishing. But now, in Canada my skills as a course angler are not as useful due to the nature of the waters and the fish, so I have decided to pursue fly flishing with all the fervour and dedication that I normally invest in fishing.
I began tying in December 2009 and I am really looking forward to devloping a solid repertoire of attacking a wide variety of species in the coming seasons. - Location
