June in New Jersey

Hi Guys, from across the pond. I'll be in NJ in june for a few weeks and would like to do some river fishing for trout. I'll be in the Redbank / Colts Neck area. Any sugestions welcome

Hey Eddie,

I live in Monmouth County, NJ. Around here the river fishing is not to good unless your fishing in salt water. By June there is no trout left in the rivers around here like the Manasquan River. You can travel an hour or two and there is some great trout streams that are great in June. For example, there is the South Branch of the Raritan and the Pequest. Both are less then 2 hours from your area. If you dont mine traveling there is a stream in north west NJ called Big Flat Brook. This is probably the best stream in NJ though its around a 3 hour drive.
