Default Conemaugh River and surrounding bodies of water

Is the Conemaugh fishable? I know it would be very easy to access where I would probably fish from (Johnstown area, along the Jim Mayer Riverwalk), but I know that it has a history of chemical runoff. Any advice for fishing in and around Johnstown? Are there any good places that I should hit up? What kinds of flies would you recommend?

Thanks for your help!
