Default Going stir crazy!

I have been out when the cold is less bothersome than my desire, but man, i can't wait to hook up. This is the first winter in the last four or five where i haven't fished the entire way through. It is killing me.

I missed out on fishing in February but I will make up for it this month. Not fishing for nearly two months is pretty rough...especially the way this winter has been.

Good call on going on a Monday. I bet there will be over 100 people on that river both Saturday and Sunday. The NC Delayed Harvest program is tremendously popular, especially in the areas too far east to support wild trout.

Yeah, I'd go today or tomorrow if it were up to me, but my fishing buddies can't make it till next week, so Monday it is.

Got a few cast in this morning, but nothing happening. I did find a fly i lost in a snag on a previous trip, as the tide was really low.

Have the same problem where I am. Stopped at a couple creeks and streams and they are all still frozen over. Hoping for warm week to start melting all this snow. It's been to long!!

I'm going to be in Delaware this weekend, but there won't be stripers for, what, another month or so?

But with temps in the 60s early next week there might be some trout fishing to be had.
