Question Visiting Gordonsville, VA for a couple days - Fishing locations?

All,

We (the fam) will be staying at Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville, VA for a couple days in mid-June and I'd really like to find some places to throw a few flies. I'd love to get into some C&R trout if possible and I'm ok with a hike off the beaten path. Can anyone provide some insight to where I should be heading? PMs are ok if you don't wanna put honey holes out in the open.

Thanks,
Josh

The Albemarle Angler is Charlottesville is a great flyshop. They can point you in the right direction.

I lived in VA for 27 years, now that I'm in Las Vegas I long for the mountains of VA....definitely locate Sugar Hollow Resevoir a GORGEOUS small EXCEPTIONALLY deep lake, fed by the North and South Forks of the Moormons River...always had good luck there and the tailwater is exceptional

it's located in Crozet just a hop skip and a cast away from Gordonsville

just google it and you'll see what I mean....

enjoy VA
