More wonderful European fishing from Arkadi de Rakoff of Club Fish World. I wouldn't mind enjoying some Tuscan sun and vino whilst chasing some beautiful brown trout this summer!

That Brown in the photo is on of the prettiest marked Browns I have ever seen. Are the Grayling a native species or are they transplanted Arctic Grayling?

Agree about that brown trout - amazing isnt it!
We have a separate native Grayling species here in UK/Northern Europe but I am not 100% sure if it is native in Italy or whether it was transplanted there.

Paul,

This sounds like an incredible place to experience European fishing at its sunny best and the fish are beautiful. I have just a few hundred more rivers to visit here and in the next life perhaps Tuscany.

I live in Siena now for 1.5 year. Can't wait to give a try this river... :D
