Default Re: Lahontan stocking for Tahoe

We fish for them in winter, from shore in Donner Lake.
Just a big white bugger will do.
Now, I'll have a reason to drive to Cave rock.
Since they mostly stay where their put, I think they'll still be there.
An 8wt with a 300gr dc line should do the trick.
I'll use a float tube, since they charge a boat inspection fee for invasives.
$45.00 per trip, if the stamp has been removed, and the motor used elswhere..

I assume they are mostly worried about quagga mussels? We have inspections here, even on tubes. milt.

Milt, there are more worries than just mussels.
NZ mud snails are out and about.
Didymo is in the area.
Not sure what else, bet the list is longer.
