Default Golden Trout Wildfire

Fire officials reported Saturday that crews battling a wildfire in the Sequoia National Forest were making progress. The blaze was 35 percent contained after burning more than 18,000 acres in the backcountry area of the Golden Trout Wilderness. The blaze has been burning since July 8 when it was sparked by a lightning strike.
