Good News.. Been an avid supporter of CFR for over a Decade.

Recently my rod .& gun club hosted a Casting for Recovery day on the river. It was a very rewarding experience for all involved. We supplied a barbecue lunch & fishing , guides?, all the volunteers have signed up to assist at the next one we have. It is a great organization & well worth our support.

We recently also hosted 2 Project Healing Waters outings for Vets. from
Lyons V.A. Hospital & found it to be a rewarding experience. Again we will have no problem getting volunteers for the next one.
We all found that sharing our knowledge & experience with people from both groups was fulfilling. Most of the people from either group had never fished ,let alone flyfished before & were like little kids when they caught their first fish. It felt great to be able to give them an experience they will remember the rest of their lives.
