Well, well, well.....I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!

Be sure and go to one of the links provided and let the EPA know that you oppose Pebble.

Here is a huge sportsmen's group that is doing big things to stop the Bristol Bay pebble mine.
Sportsman's Alliance for Alaska
They even have the post-count champion Aber Nippers available with the No Pebble Mine logo!

Now even I would pay $50 for that nipper -- IF they sent the profit to the Alliance!

I opened the Sportsmen's Alliance for Alaska page that was posted. The first paragraph following the pictures, SAA lists itself as a lean mean one man operation.

I guess we could take that to mean that the Alliance is not ran by a cabal of communists, socialists, leftists, or the National Audubon Society.

The list of outdoor manufacturers, retailers, publishers, hunting and fishing groups, outfitters, lodges, jewelers, restaurateurs, etc. support the protection of Bristol Bay and oppose the Pebble Mine is astounding! A Corporate America and the infallible free-market. A classic case of an industry with more influence over the elected leaders of our country than the people that put them there and pay their salaries.

Look at this list! Save Bristol Bay

Now, as long as we can keep the 'DDT' out of the mix we'll be doing fine. For those that don't know what the 'DDT' is, it's a fictitious group made up by a good friend of mine, and it stands for "Drilling, Digging, and Timber", the polar opposite of the 'EPA'.

Certainly a massive amount of support to fight Pebble, it'll take more, and more funding over the long haul to shoot down the mine because of the cash the other side has.

I don't know, but it appears he is making a good living off the anguish of the locals. Will be glad when the bottom dwellers who feed off these hyped up events finally have their fill! Only then will the government make the decision that should have been made a long time ago. Seriously does anybody really think Pebble Mine will get approval???
