Hi Everyone,
If you fish Permit in Florida or hope to in the future you need to respond to the FWC rules for Permit. Without the proper protection the fishery can be seriously damaged. Permit did well until fisherman learned they could catch them over wrecks, not fly fishers. I think that every year more and more Permit are being harvested and we don't know how many can be harvested with out damage to the fishery. The Bonefish and Tarpon Trust is doing good work and we should support there recommendations. I have sent an Email with the BTT recommended paragraph and added my own comments. I hope you do the same. Frank
