Default Ennis Dam Break Update!!

The draw down of the lake has started and flows are around 3000 C.F.S. It is unclear how long the draw down will last and what the time frame is for fixing the three gates that were destroyed. Here is a link to the Madisonian Newspaper which has some good pictures of the slide and the damage to the dam.

Hopefully they discover that the entire dam is structurally destroyed and they have to build a new dam that draws it's water out of the bottom.

Having a tailwater close to bozeman would be pretty sweet.

A tailwater close to Bozeman would be sweet, but It might be more interesting to see another 10 or so miles of a river channel running through the area where the lake currently sits. I think both ideas are a pipe dream but either scenario would be interesting.
